The Safeway Grocery store is 1.5 miles away. The community college is about 1mile away.The El Dorado Boat launch is about 1.5 miles away.

The neighborhood is a residential area of mostly A-frame style mountain homes. There is a large meadow down the street that is great for walks.
Bijou Community Park is right next to the neighborhood. It is famous for its disc golf, pump track, dog parks, skateboard park, and children's playground.
